Send a brief that can be quoted
Use NAVORIQ references and product links rather than an image alone. Where a model code appears on multiple configurations, include the product name and the requested material or function.
- Destination country, sales channel and estimated quantity per reference.
- Requested finish, logo location, colours, packaging language and included accessories.
- Required delivery window and the documents your importing team needs.
- Which items are essential for launch and which are optional.
Separate the customization levels
Logo application, retail artwork, colour changes, app branding and tooling changes have different approval and production implications. Availability is discussed for each selected product; a customization note is not a blanket promise across the catalogue.
Ask whether the quote includes artwork preparation, sample charges, tooling, revisions and the final packaging. Confirm ownership and permitted use of any artwork or tooling in the commercial agreement.
Define the sample and repeat-order standard
Approve a physical sample or clearly specified approval pack showing the product reference, version, finish, label, accessories and carton artwork. Keep an explicit list of accepted deviations.
For powered products, a branding change should not obscure model and electrical identification. Reconfirm the finished configuration and supporting documents if components or functions change.
- Agree on the approval contact and which changes require another sample.
- Confirm production lead time after sample and artwork approval.
- Set the replacement, defect-reporting and reorder arrangements in writing.
