Smart Pet Products: Voltage, Plug and Document Checklist

A smart product can look identical across markets while its electrical configuration, control version, labels or documents differ. Buyers should close these details for the exact model before treating a quotation as final.

1. Name the destination before the configuration

State the destination country and sales market at the start of the inquiry. Do not assume that a plug adapter alone makes an electrical product suitable for a different market.

2. Record the electrical fields consistently

For every shortlisted model, record the listed input voltage, frequency, rated power, adapter information and plug requirement. If a field is not available in the current source, mark it for written confirmation.

  • Input voltage and frequency
  • Rated power
  • Plug type
  • Adapter or battery information
  • Model and version

3. Separate functions from versions

Ask whether app, camera, display, language or control functions vary by version. A feature shown on one model page should not be copied to another similar-looking product without confirmation.

4. Request the current document list

Tell the supplier which documents your market or customer requires, then ask what is currently available for the exact model. Do not advertise certifications until the applicable documents have been checked.
