Cat Side Tables Wholesale: How to Choose Your First Range

For a first wholesale cat side table range, choose a clear household use and cat function before adding colours or extra configurations. A scratching side table, a low resting platform and an enclosed cat den answer different buyer needs. Use the three catalogue examples below to build a focused shortlist, then confirm usable space, included parts, packing and order terms with samples.

Three cat side table formats: current catalogue dimensions and materials
Product / referenceProduct dimensions (mm)Material
Mini Scratch Side TableM1060 · NAV-F009300 × 300 × 500Solid-wood plywood with a pet-furniture board tabletop; supplier-stated ENF grade
Floating Cat Side TableM1067 · NAV-F006Ø450 × 250Solid-wood plywood; supplier-stated ENF grade
Capsule Cat Den Side TableM1086 · NAV-F107800 × 360 × 520Board body and sisal scratching pad; capsule version has a saddle-leather-style top finish, composition unconfirmed

Dimensions describe the overall products, not the usable resting area, entry opening or packed carton. Material descriptions and ENF references are supplier statements, not independent verification or destination-market approval. Confirm the exact version and supporting documents before ordering.

1. Start with the room, not a long list of colours

Write a one-sentence brief for the range: for example, a small side table with a scratching surface beside a sofa, or an enclosed resting space that also supports everyday household use. This gives your buying team a reason to select one design over another.

NAV-F009 is listed at 300 × 300 × 500 mm. NAV-F006 is much lower at Ø450 × 250 mm, while NAV-F107 is listed at 800 × 360 × 520 mm. These footprints and heights should not be presented as interchangeable end tables. Check the intended placement and access on a room plan before ordering samples.

2. Compare configurations as separate order lines

NAV-F006 offers a scratching-pad version and a transparent resting-capsule version. NAV-F107 offers basic and transparent-capsule versions, with a saddle-leather-style top finish described for the capsule version. That description does not establish genuine leather or a particular upholstery composition.

Ask for a labelled photograph and a parts list for each quoted configuration. A shared product name does not mean the same included parts, assembly process or price. Record the product reference, supplier model, version and finish together so the sample and quotation identify the same item.

  • Specify whether the capsule, scratching insert and other pictured accessories are included.
  • Confirm the finish on each component rather than relying on a colour-family name alone.
  • Request separate prices and packing details for versions you are actually considering.

3. Keep the opening assortment easy to evaluate

An illustrative first shortlist could contain one scratching-table configuration and one den configuration. This is a planning example, not a fixed buying recommendation or a claim about demand in your market. Select the mix using your customer profile, display space and existing range.

Two models in three colours create six model-colour combinations before any optional versions are added. Each combination needs its own quantity decision and stock record. For a first order, ask which finishes and configurations can be combined, whether minimum quantities apply separately, and what reorder conditions apply. Do not assume that a mixed order shares one minimum quantity.

4. Approve the details your retail listing will depend on

Treat the sample as a way to close specific questions. Overall dimensions cannot establish suitable cat size, supported load or safe placement. Request the manufacturer's use limits and assembly instructions, then review the supplied configuration against them. Keep the acceptance record with your purchase specification.

  • Measure the cat entrance, usable resting area and clearance around an installed capsule.
  • Check accessible edges, joints and fasteners; document any assembly or stability concerns for correction.
  • For a model on castors, confirm whether brakes are included and follow the intended placement instructions.
  • Check how the scratching pad is secured and whether a matching replacement can be supplied.
  • Confirm how the interior, capsule and surface finish should be cleaned, including products or methods to avoid.
  • Approve photos of the exact version for your listing; do not add pet-weight, load or durability claims without supporting evidence.

5. Compare the complete order cost before choosing the cheaper table

A lower product price is only one part of the comparison. Ask for cartons per unit, packed dimensions, gross weight, assembly requirements and protection for the supplied capsule or finished panels. NAV-F107 is described in the catalogue as having compact packing, but the public record does not give carton dimensions or prove a freight saving.

Put product cost, packing, freight on an agreed delivery basis, destination charges, sample costs and any agreed spare parts on the same comparison sheet. Use current quotations for your destination. There is no freight allowance or margin promise built into the product dimensions in this guide.

6. Decide what would justify a reorder

Before the opening order, decide how you will review each configuration: customer questions, sales by variant, assembly support requests, damage reports and requests for replacement scratching pads. Keep results by model and version so a problem with one configuration does not get hidden inside a category total.

Ask what must stay the same on a repeat order: dimensions, panel construction, finish, hardware, capsule and packing. Record substitutions as changes requiring review. Photos can explain the furniture format, but your first order is still a test of your own market, not proof of future sell-through.
